Nickelodeon Guts is an American television "action sports" competition series hosted by actor/comedian Mike O'Malley and officiated by British actress Moira "Mo" Quirk. The series was broadcast by the cable television network Nickelodeon from 1992 to 1995. The show features young athletes competing in various athletic events in the "Extreme Arena", a set built on Sound Stage 21 at Universal Studios Florida. Guts reruns were shown on Nickelodeon from January 15, 1996 until February 28, 1999 before moving to Nickelodeon GAS from March 1, 1999 until the network's closure on December 31, 2007. It has occasionally been seen in reruns on TeenNick since January 1, 2008. In 2008, Nickelodeon produced two seasons of a revival of the program, My Family's Got Guts.

The programme is hosted by Jon Sopel who joined the channel from the domestic BBC News Channel. Sopel regularly presents the programme on location around the world and in this case it is broadcast in part on BBC News Channel. the Global replaced The Hub which originally was edition of World News Today and served as a news 'nerve centre' for South Asia and the Middle East, providing both the headlines, and detailed analysis of the global news agenda.

Global Sunday is the name of a Canadian television news series, which aired Sunday evenings on the Global Television Network. The program was launched in September, 2001, with Charles Adler as host. Run separately from the rest of Global's news division, the program often reflected the political views of Global's founder, Israel Asper and the Asper family. Global National is the English language national newscast of Canada's Global Television Network. It is produced from the Global BC studios in Burnaby, with Dawna Friesen and Robin Gill anchoring the weekday and weekend editions respectively. From 2008 to 2010, the program was the only Canadian network newscast to be regularly anchored from the nation's capital, Ottawa. In addition to Global's owned-and-operated stations, Global National also airs on affiliate CHFD-DT in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and independent station CJON-DT in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Global also produces a Mandarin version of the newscast, titled Global National Mandarin. Anchored by Carol Wang, the newscast is seen on Shaw Multicultural Channel in Vancouver and Calgary.

Global Currents is a Canadian news television series, which aired weekly on Global Television Network. Hosted by Kevin Newman, the series airs one documentary film each week. The series originally launched in 2005, replacing the newsmagazine series Global Sunday. Initially, there was no umbrella title for the series, with each week's documentary promoted under its own individual title. The title Global Currents began to be used in 2007. The series was shown Saturday evenings at 7 p.m., save for the autumn of 2007 when it was shown at 10 p.m.

Global Village is an Australian television show broadcast by the Australian public broadcaster SBS. The program is hosted by Silvio Rivier, who also does many of the voice overs. In 2008 it combined with Thalassa, a French documentary series, to expand its coverage of coastal areas. Global Village covers communities from all over the globe. The show consists of usually two, mostly short films 10–15 minutes long describing land and people all across the world. About 50% come from a French TV station and thus deal with topics from France, or, less frequently, its former colonies. The main focus is to educate viewers about different cultures and working styles from around the world. Global Village has released two music CDs which contain a selection of music taken from the countries they visit.

Global Talk Show, is a television program on Korean Broadcasting System in South Korea. The show features a panel of foreign women residing in South Korea who discuss their experiences and cultures in a talk show format in the Korean language. After high viewer ratings from its first broadcast on October 7, 2006 during the Korean Chuseok holiday, it became a regularly broadcast program starting November 26, 2006. Its final episode was aired on Christmas 2010. A portion of the program was also published as a book featuring the same subject. The show is hosted by Nam Hui-Seok, a television personality and comedian, and later Announcer Eom Jiin, joins as co-host for the talkshow, and later Lee Yun-seok and Seo Gyeong-seok as the final hosts. The song "Bring It All Back" by S Club 7 is played after the opening cut to the studio floor that follows the playing of the opening intro and the viewer advisory that it is a rated "15" program. The popularity of the program has given celebrity status within South Korea to some of the panelists.
