Samba migrated to France 10 years ago from Senegal, and has since been plugging away at various lowly jobs. Alice is a senior executive who has recently undergone a burnout. Both struggle to get out of their dead-end lives. Samba's willing to do whatever it takes to get working papers, while Alice tries to get her life back on track until fate draws them together.

The movie is about Rayalaseema factionism. The director Vinayak tried to make it a different one by presenting it with a message. A message to say education should be of outmost importance in once life. While it's an excellent message, the movie is presented with insane unwanted violence of kick chopped heads like football! The comedy by Venu Madhav and Krishna Bhagawan is very close to the best we've seen in recent years. The music is dull but the screenplay by Vinayak makes the viewers interest till the end.

Night club owner Russ Vincent hires boogie-woogie dancer Betty Hannon for a spot in a South American revue headed by Lita Baron (as Isabelita.) The latter is wary of Hannon's motives, but Vincent dismisses her feelings as jealousy.
Art expert Katharina Diezmann is out of the blue, when one day the little Brazilian Marcia is standing at her door. Years ago Katharina had taken over a sponsorship for the eleven-year-old, but never expected that she would ever meet her. The little girl is in Berlin with her samba group over Christmas and has only one wish: finally to see real snow!
Samba (Bakary Sangare) has returned unannounced to his home village, bringing with him a suitcase full of money. Despite his protests that this is money that he earned in the city, the villagers have their doubts. In fact, he held up a gas station and unintentionally killed its attendant, and is in hiding here. Meanwhile, he has married a woman (Mariam Kaba) with a child who left her husband and built a house for her. He is building a bar with his remaining money, but he encounters a situation which makes him believe that he will be exposed to the police, and runs away, leaving a pregnant, very ill wife behind, much to the disgust of the villagers and Samba's own family.
Donald Duck and Jose Carioca, both literally blue, stumble across the Cafe do Samba, whose proprietor is determined to cheer them up with samba music. After they get their color back, they land in a giant brandy snifter, where a live-action woman is playing the tune on an organ. She also drums and dances a bit. The only dialogue is the lyrics of the song, sung by women.
