Eurovision 2010: Romania Music Video
I was called upon to handle the VFX for my country’s music video at this year’s Eurovision event. This was quite an honor and I jumped right into it with full commitment.
The music video is produced by my friend and collaborator Edi Schneider, and we used some pretty cool gadgets and technologies ( like motion capture ) to get this project working. The song is called “Playing With Fire” and it is played by Paula Seling and Ovidiu Cernauteanu. They will represent Romania this year in the European finals.
The whole project was done on an extremely tight deadline. Once Edi came back from Austria with the footage, I had around 12 days to do the VFX, from modeling the cg elements, to setting up the motion capture and compositing. I would have really liked more time to polish things, but I’m quite pleased of what came out from such a short time.
